The Rumorosa wind farm in Mexico’s Baja California state will soon have new high-tech wind turbines from Gamesa Corporacion Tecnologica in Spain.
The Spanish company announced that Mexican wind farm operator, Turbo Power Baja Energy, has signed a contract with them for five turbines with a total capacity of 10 MW.
The contract includes the equipment, installation, activation and maintenance of the turbines. Work is expected to begin later this year.
Consistent winds in Baja California make it an ideal area to harvest eco-energy.
As well as large scale turbines that can supply whole towns with power, many individuals are also now installing wind and solar systems in their Baja California real estate properties.

Wind Power is one of the best alternative energy sources that we should utilize, it is very clean and non-polluting. I was able to built a small wind generator at home which can power small appliances.
wind farms are great but they also take up a large land area-`.
our hometown already have wind farms and it is great to know that we have a reneawable electricity source~,:
