The Mexican Government’s Secretary for the Environment and Natural Resources confirmed, that they are evaluating two new real estate projects in the Riviera Maya, said local news service, Noticaribe.
In a report, the new agency said that public consultations would be held for Proyecto Punta Carey and Club Campestre y Golf Akumal.
Proyecto Punta Carey, is a 64.4 acre (26.05 hectare) resort development consisting of 30 apartments, over 100 hotel rooms, a club house and associated buildings and services in the middle of the Riviera Maya.

In a survey released by KPMG this week, Mexico is the only Latin American economy that will increase its participation in the total amount of investment undertaken by multinational corporations in the region in the next five years. Increases are expected mostly in the services and manufacturing sectors.
