Live Vicariously Through Mexico Bloggers

Moving to Mexico can be a scary proposition if you know little about what is like. Often the best way to predict how happy you will be in a different situation is to ask others who have already made the journey. Thanks to the invention of the blog, you have access to hundreds if not thousands of first hand accounts of everyday life, including the pros and cons of living in a new country. There are currently about 1 million American expats living in Mexico according to some estimates, and there are many people who are willing to share their experiences and advice to help others make the leap.

There are a diverse group of individuals who share their personal adventures via blogs. You can read about accounts about moving to Mexico with kids (Moving Kids to Mexico) , young people escaping the traditional career path (Mexico or Bust, RiverGirl), or happy retirees (Gringo in Paradise , Tales of Zapata Street , Same Life -New Location).

You can see our growing list of recommended Mexico blogs in the resources section.
