Important – please note: We have not, nor would we ever, act in the manner described. Thomas Ford prides himself in being ethical, transparent and always above board. But we strongly suggest you do your own due diligence by learning more about Elated Worldwide Group and Thomas Ford by checking with the California Secretary of State Office and/or the Securities Exchange Commission and reach your own conclusions. Thank you.

Hi Martin

Thank you for your reply, it's interesting that this discussion is still drawing attention.

You made some serious claims against Thomas Ford, can you back them up? Have you dealt with Ford personally? We'd love to hear some reliable information from people who have been involved personally.

Thomas Ford/Elated - we're still hoping you will reply to these claims against you. Your silence speaks words.

Our investment advice remains not to get involved in this project. Look instead at the many other SOUND investment opportunities in Mexico.

This is just a big scam; Ford is just a low-life liar and a cheat. He never had any investors, he lied to the real estate people in Mexico and California as well. He is exactly the type of person who should be behind bars and be the center of entertainment in the shower. He is scum, run, don’t walk away. Call the cops – a very bad person.

All the comments are right on. Our company was approached by Elated. We help (design build) fund theme parks and other projects. They "were" struggling to find investors. We could not help them as they did not have the right documents and preparation for us to submit to investors. They also did not have any money. That makes for more difficulty. They "hounded" us for several months. Questioning their move to Cabos is a good start toward due diligence. There is so much more wrong with this group and their effort, any due diligence should start with an interview with Roy Propsner. (google)

Thanks Ron.

Following our chat offline I've confirmed you're referring to DKY Architects in Irvine, California, who have been involved from the beginning and have been very helpful - we'd spoken with them a few times previously about the project.

We've just spoken to them again today, and they have told me that the idea is still alive and Elated are still involved, but they prefer not to say any more than that.

I've sent another email to Elated in the hope they may finally respond to confirm this themselves too.

Maybe Ron knows something we don't and perhaps if the details for the investment opportunity become clearer we'll be able to change our advice, but at the moment the rest of us are still in the dark..!

I can't speak in regards to the legitimacy of the investment fund for Elated WorldWide, but I can confirm that the plans for the park are legit. The Architectural Firm backing the project is world class and have worked with several big players in the theming and entertainment industry.

I'm a professional in the Water Park/Theme Park Industry and wouldn't be waisting my time following this project if I didn't know there was a real chance the project would get off the ground. I'm involved in numerous large theme park projects around the world that are currently on hold due to the current global financial crisis. Even industry giants like Six Flags weren't able to weather the storm and were forced into Chapter 11. Lack of financing is sole reason why this project is slow to get off the ground, but I'm confident it will all come together. Maybe not in time to open next year, but soon enough.

Todays Themed Water Parks are huge money makers and attendance has never been better. Financial institutions are slowly starting to loosen their purse strings, which will allow some of these monstrous projects to get off the ground. The days of a bare bone concrete water park with nothing but fibreglass slides grouped together are a thing of the past. Fully themed and interactive designs are what is expected now and they don't come cheap.

Just a quick update: we've been waiting 10 days for a response from Elated now and haven't heard a thing.

We've left messages on their voicemail and had no reply.
We've emailed their Elated email addresses and had no reply.
We've emailed the address their domain is registered under and it bounced back.
We called the person named as their Investor Relations Manager on a previous press release and he said he no longer works for them and can't help.
And their websites are still down.

I'm sorry to say it, but they do appear to have vanished into thin air.

Our investment advice is not to get involved...

Thank you.

Lack of financing is sole reason why this project is slow to get off the ground, but I’m confident it will all come together.

But we strongly suggest you do your own due diligence by learning more about Elated Worldwide Group and Thomas Ford by checking with the California Secretary of State Office and/or the Securities Exchange Commission and reach your own conclusions.

(google)

Ian is right. No one is being quick to respond. There has been a lot of due diligence on this non existent project. Face it; they can not be reached because they are gone! I challenge you to prove us wrong.

A theme park would be great of course. But a scam would make people like Christina and others who spend their time, and more importantly their money; the biggest losers. I've been around for over a quarter of a century on Cozumel and I've seen people like this trying to get money and fold their tents only to take the money and run.

This would not be the first time a smooth talker convinced people to invest in a bogus project. As a licensed Real Estate Broker in both California and Florida I say: "Buyer Beware"!

Also they say that they are from San Diego. I have lots of friends in the business of commercial real estate in San Diego. These people are not part of that community.
