If the property is more expensive you could always take out the minimum loan amount and then pay that portion back once you take posession. If you were planning to make any upgrades to the property you might also be able to work those in to the loan in order to hit the minimum, or try some different lenders to see if anyone will go lower. That loan amount probably is below most US based lender requirements, however, you might also talk to some local Mexican banks. I&#8217;ve never tried it before, but K is more than most locals get mortgages for, so it might be worth a shot.</p>
