If you are looking for an opportunity for investment in Mexico real estate, La Paz, Mexico is an excellent location to investigate.
Strong Location
La Paz is located at the southern tip of the Baja California peninsula just north of Cabo San Lucas and overlooks the Sea of Cortez to the east. It is around 600-700 miles from the border of the US.

Attractive Price
Rental properties can be found for as little as $100,000 to $150,000 according to James Glover of Baja Real Estate and Consulting in an article by NuWire Investor. Compared to it's close neighbor, Cabo, real estate is much more affordable and has a great opportunity for appreciation. It has a lower demand for rental units than Cabo, but there is a reasonable market of tourists looking for a quieter and more authentic atmosphere.
Strong Infrastructure
La Paz has a extensive infrastructure in place with "state-of-the art hospital facilities, schools, universities, shopping, and more" according to an interview with Mexico real estate developer John Fair, by Nuwire Investor. La Paz is home to an international airport with service from seven airlines (1), eight universities and is the capital of the state of Baja California Sur. Schmidt-Curley Design have announced they will begin construction of a par-71, 7,068-yard golf course just 15 miles north of La Paz (2) which will boost demand for rental units in the area.
La Paz is expected to have steadily climbing appreciation rates and represents one of the best value investments in Mexico real estate.

I must agree that Mexico is a great place. As a realtor, I always value people who add value to the information available to educate consumers.
la paz is a safe place, no violent.
I have sandy beach lots for sale 15 miles north of La Paz starting at $50,000 usd. I can be reached ar 310 455 3008 in the US or 612 120 2766 in La Paz.
La Paz is an incredible investment opportunity for those looking for a second home or retirement place. Los Cabos is also an incredible location, but people interested should be looking at it right now, because in a few more years it will be much more expensive. Both areas are still under construction so to speak, and it is still possible to buy affordable property. Beware of scams and if you are interested, be sure to check out masterplanned communities available there (CostaBaja and Paraiso del Mar for example).
I am planning on traveling to LaPaz to live.I live strickly on social security. I will be looking for a small casa furnished for around $350-$400 I must have airconditioning and internet hook up.I can live up to 25 miles from Lapaz. My real concern is medical sevices I am 70 years old but in excellent health I work out 3-4 times a week and have lifted over 7,000,000,000 lbs in the last 3 years. I need help, giving me information since your’e there.Do you think I can pull this off?
