Attractive Price
Rental properties can be found for as little as $100,000 to $150,000 according to James Glover of Baja Real Estate and Consulting in an article by NuWire Investor. Compared to it’s close neighbor, Cabo, real estate is much more affordable and has a great opportunity for appreciation. It has a lower demand for rental units than Cabo, but there is a reasonable market of tourists looking for a quieter and more authentic atmosphere.
Strong Infrastructure
La Paz has a extensive infrastructure in place with “state-of-the art hospital facilities, schools, universities, shopping, and more” according to an interview with Mexico real estate developer John Fair, by Nuwire Investor. La Paz is home to an international airport with service from seven airlines (1), eight universities and is the capital of the state of Baja California Sur. Schmidt-Curley Design have announced they will begin construction of a par-71, 7,068-yard golf course just 15 miles north of La Paz (2) which will boost demand for rental units in the area.
La Paz is expected to have steadily climbing appreciation rates and represents one of the best value investments in Mexico real estate.
