It would behoove you to conduct due diligence when investing in Mexico real estate, including visiting the location of interest, talking to locals, and reading local blogs. Ex-patriot blogs can provide important insights into daily life and obstacles of living in Mexico that you have never imagined. Although areas of Mexico are very Americanized with modern infrastructure, you will not truly know what it is like, unless you experience it yourself.
