You can get a great feel for the natural features of Mexico and sometimes even zoom to the specific building you are interested in. However, it seems that you are not able to zoom in as close with certain locations like Cancun, preventing you from examining cars or people like you can with US locations. Even so, you can get a good sense of the population density and surrounding natural landscape of certain locations that you may be interested in.
