    Of course Mexico came in number one. The violence, while terrible and of concern, is focused along the border. The further south you go, the better Mexico gets. Please leave Costco and other technical matters out of the formula…… The real attraction – Mexico offers a charm, beauty and way of life that simply cannot be experienced in the US.

    I moved to Cozumel Mexico fifteen years ago this month from Dallas, Texas, and love it. There is almost no crime in Cozumel. The beautiful, crystal clear, turquoise ocean lulls anyone into a state of total tranquility. The Mayan culture is very family oriented, fun loving, happy people. I have been able to live here for 1/4 or less of what it cost me to live in the states with a better life style. Investing in Mexico and moving to Mexico is something everyone should look into. Cozumel has an international airport and is only a 1 hour flight to Miami and 2 hour to Houston or Dallas.
