Canadian airline, WestJet, said last week that they will start more new seasonal flights to Cozumel and Ixtapa/Zihuatanejo in Mexico, for the winter of 2009-2010.
The new non-stop flights are in addition to the 21 new routes announced by the carrier in June to Cancun, Puerto Vallarta, Mazatlan and Cabo San Lucas.
WestJet spokesperson, Chris Avery, said, "We remain confident that in spite of the current economic conditions, WestJet's unsurpassed value and our status as Canada's preferred airline will see old friends and new guests alike flying with us this winter."
From December 10, 2009 WestJet will fly twice a week from Toronto to Cozumel and from November 3, 2009, twice a week from Calagary to Ixtapa/Zihuatanejo.
