Puerto Vallarta is a beautiful place for a stay. In the last few years visitors are also increasing over there and many of them also buy property over there. And one thing more is that the place is beautiful as well as the property over there is not much costly.

Buy in Hawaii instead.

Prices will be down due to the simple fact it is a US market which are mostly all suffering, and also from the fact that tourism has taken a major hit from the economy so the Hawaii economy would be really struggling.

I've been to Mexico, I've been to Hawaii and hands down Hawaii is amazingly better.

My wife and I were adventurous enough to drive from our home in San Diego to Puerto Vallarta and back with our two pre-teen kids. Much of the trip was documented on our "Living in Mexico" blog http://mexicohome.wordpress.com

Our only big complaint was that the toll roads should all be able to accept credit cards so that we wouldn't have to carry so much cash (it was always hit or miss). While we loved Puerto Vallarta, we were really surprised at how wonderful the historic section of Mazatlan is being rebuilt. Tremendous character and lots of investment opportunities for those who love to refurbish old - really old - buildings make of brick and plaster. Our second favorite place was Alamos. Hidden away in the foothills, it's worth the effort to get there.

With the housing market in the United States in a slump, now may be the best time to look elsewhere and consider investing in Mexico real estate. Mexico offers many types of peaceful, tranquil waterfront property to meet whatever desires you have. A wide variety of housing is available whether you are seeking a condo style of living or a large single family home. If you are not ready to purchase a residence, you may want to invest in land to build on later. Puerto Vallarta offers a wide variety of water sports, shopping, restaurants and fine dining, and other activities to keep you as engaged and busy as you would prefer to be. According to an article in the Puerto Vallarta real estate section of the Banderas News dated June 27, 2008 "...foreigners can own property along the coast by having a bank trustee." Why not come to Mexico to see for yourself the many options that are available to you in the real estate market. Why not create your own perfect paradise? Now may be the best time to plan a trip to review the options available in the Mexico real estate market.

It is highly suggested that one does their research before hunting for exciting properties in markets like Puerto Vallarta or Acapulco. Be aware of get rich quick scams that are all over the Internet and on television these day and stay informed on the laws of Mexico before investing. Buyers should also ask their agents about any other fees they will have to pay when purchasing the property. There is also the issue of cultural assimilation when moving to another country. It is advisable that people learn the language and try to secure a place of employment or learn what the laws are for jobs for foreigners. If you do not want to permanently move and live in Mexico and you just want to rent out your property, you will need to research the laws for being a landlord and subletting your property.

Buying and selling real estate in Mexico can be a profitable investment. Even if you are interested in buying for non-investment purposes, you are not likely to walk away disappointed. The real estate market is Puerto Vallarta is holding strong, and can be a lucrative and enjoyable experience. According to La Costa Coldwell Banker and the MLS listings in Peurto Vallarta, Mexican Real Estate is not suffering from the same kind of mortgage crisis that we are north of the border. You can visit http://www.cblacosta.com/ for more information on available listings in Puerto Vallarta, and see for yourself what kind of market there is in Mexico. Generally, the purchases made in Puerto Vallarta are cash investments. There is generally little to no financing on real estate, which means there is no sub-prime market downfall like we are experiencing here in the United States. Puerto Vallarta is a vacation hot spot. Even if you are considering purchasing as strictly a vacation home, you can always recoup your investment by renting your home when you are not visiting the beautiful Mexican coastline. People are generally thrilled to rent a condo or vacation home for their visit to Puerto Vallarta because it costs less than some of the all-inclusive resorts, and tourists can experience the real Puerto Vallarta as a luxurious vacation. Puerto Vallarta is experiencing a strong upturn in upscale development and is developing a strong reputation as the best golf destination in Mexico.

Buy in Hawaii instead.

Prices will be down due to the simple fact it is a US market which are mostly all suffering, and also from the fact that tourism has taken a major hit from the economy so the Hawaii economy would be really struggling.

I've been to Mexico, I've been to Hawaii and hands down Hawaii is amazingly better.

Puerto Vallarta is a beautiful place for a stay. In the last few years visitors are also increasing over there and many of them also buy property over there. And one thing more is that the place is beautiful as well as the property over there is not much costly.

Puerto Vallarta has always been a favorite vacation destination for United States citizens and now is becoming a popular place to live or have a vacation home. According to virtualvallarta.com, Puerto Vallarta is experiencing the biggest real estate boom they've had in twenty years. PV offers all types of real estate investment options from hotels, condominiums, timeshares, and regular homes. Of course, in real estate, location is key and Puerto Vallarta delivers! There is the beach, naturally, but there is also a lot to offer in terms of art, culture, and entertainment. Puerto Vallarta hosts frequent festivals and revivals of native music. Puerto Vallarta is a lovely place to live and is a wonderful place to buy and sell real estate. There is strong demand for dwellings in Puerto Vallarta and, because of the real estate boom, new developments seem to be springing up everyday.
