Mexico Real Estate Tours offers educational seminars on Mexico real estate and guided tours of Puerto Vallarta real estate. If you are serious about buying a home in Mexico, this is a great way to learn everything you need to know about safely buying a property and also check out several quality developments in person. The seminar, which costs $185 for one attendee and $250 USD for two attendees, features Mexico real estate experts like Tom Kelly, author of "Cashing in on a Second Home in Mexico". The topics covered in the seminar include real estate ownership, Mexican property law, Mexican taxes, financing property in Mexico, title insurance. The tour includes visiting downtown Puerto Vallarta and a cruise around the Bay of Banderas, as well as a showing of select real estate developments in Puerto Vallarta (Marival Residences, Del Canto, 3.14 Living, Haixa at Litibu, and Las Lunas). The tour is hosted by Mexico alive and American Title insurance, and they have planned a structured weekend of presentations and activities, which they call "Discovery Weekend". The sponsors of the tour pay for your hotel stay at Marival hotel and they cover all food and drink during the weekend. Some of the fun activities planned include a sunset dinner on the beach and a Mexican fiesta and show. You will also have a chance to ask experts and current residences all your questions. Jeremy Ames, CEO of NuWire Investor recently had a chance to attend the Discovery Weekend. "They did a good job of presenting various properties without exerting buying pressure. This isn’t a timeshare presentation. They certainly ask if you are interested, but I wouldn’t expect anything different given the nature of the seminar. If someone is serious about looking at real estate in Mexico, I think this type of investment tour is fantastic. Even if you don’t end up purchasing one of their products, it is a quick way to get some education, a sampling of what it is like to vacation (or maybe live) in Mexico and a really good idea about the different areas and types of property in which you can invest. If you’re not really that interested in looking for a property, but like the idea of a cheap vacation, then this probably isn’t for you". Jeremy said that that a lot of opportunities were reasonably priced and he liked the ability to compare and contrast several different opportunities. The "Discovery Weekend" is held once a month, with the next one being held on December 11, 12, and 13. You can find more information and a discounted rate at Mexico Real Estate Tours.
