Since the local government has recently designated the area an ecologically protected zone and since Trump Marinas has filed for Chapter 11 reorganization, it would seem highly unlikely that this project would move forward at this time.

These types of reports (second golf course on the South end of the island, and New Theme park named Mayan Adventure) are constantly coming and going here on Cozumel along with the seed monies that pour into these schemes! I’ve learned over the last 23 years of history on Cozumel to take this type of press with a very large grain of salt!
